In the end of the 1970s some stories have been serialized in some newspapers in the US and Canada in comic strip format (with somewhat cropped panels) in yet another translation.
In 1977 "Asterix the Gladiator" [4] was published in the newspaper Orlando Sentinel Star:
And in 1979 "Asterix in Spain" [14] was published in the sunday comics supplement of the Toronto Sun:
